Bedroom Lighting
Good bedroom lighting works in layers: a soft ceiling light for the room, and bedside sconces for reading. This collection brings together wall sconces with linen, glass and alabaster shades, articulated reading lamps, and flush or semi flush ceiling lights that diffuse the light gently. All are handcrafted in our workshop from solid brass.
Placing bedside sconces
Mount bedside sconces so the shade sits a little above shoulder height when you sit up in bed, usually around 20 to 30 inches above the mattress, and slightly outside the width of the bed. Swing arm models let you bring the light closer to read. See our swing arm wall sconces, alabaster wall sconces and flush mount ceiling lights.
