Sputnik Chandeliers

The sputnik chandelier is one of the most recognizable mid century shapes: arms reaching out from a central hub, each ending in a light. Our sputnik chandeliers come in compact two light versions up to six light pieces, with opal glass globes, perforated brass shades or matt black orbs. Each is handcrafted in our workshop from solid brass.

Where a sputnik works

Smaller sputniks suit a breakfast nook, a bedroom or a hallway. Larger ones make a centerpiece over a round dining table or in a foyer. Hang them 30 to 36 inches above a table, or with at least 7 feet of clearance in walkways. See also our brass chandeliers, globe lights and foyer lighting.

Finishes

Choose raw, polished, brushed or antique brass. Some models pair brass with black for more contrast. Built with UL-listed components.

Add the room length and width in feet and use that number in inches as a guide for the diameter.
