Swing Arm Wall Sconces

A swing arm wall sconce moves the light to where you need it, then folds back against the wall. It is the reading lamp that takes no space on a nightstand. Our swing arm and articulated sconces come in mid century and minimalist styles, with cone shades, a long reach arm and a ruffled flower shade. Each is handcrafted in our workshop from solid brass.

Where to mount a swing arm sconce

Beside a bed, mount it so the shade sits a little above your shoulder when you sit up, often around 20 to 30 inches above the mattress. Beside a sofa or a reading chair, the shade should be a little behind and above your head. See also our bedroom lighting, wall lights and wall sconces.
