Lighting for Architects

Decorative lighting for architects

Architectural lighting sets the base layer of a building. Decorative fixtures give it identity. LightCove makes solid brass pendants, sconces, chandeliers and ceiling lights for architects who want the decorative layer to be as considered as the plan. Every piece is handcrafted to order in our workshop, which means sizes and drops can often be adapted to the space.

What we bring to a specification

Solid brass, five finishes

Fixtures are made in solid brass and offered in raw, polished, brushed and antique brass, plus matt black. One finish can run through an entire project, from ceiling spotlights and flush mount ceiling lights in circulation spaces to statement linear chandeliers over long tables. Finish samples are available on request.

Alabaster and glass

Our alabaster lights diffuse light softly and suit residential and hospitality interiors. Glass shades and dome lights offer a cleaner, more graphic profile.

Technical information

Product pages list dimensions and fixture details, and spec sheets can be shared for your drawings and schedules. Fixtures are built with UL-listed components. Installation should always be carried out by a licensed electrician; our installation guide covers mounting heights and preparation.

Adapted to the building

Double-height spaces, sloped ceilings and long runs rarely match standard dimensions. We can discuss drop lengths, overall widths and sloped ceiling kits on request. Larger commissions are covered on our Custom & Bespoke Lighting page, and multi-unit work on Commercial Lighting Projects.

Trade pricing for architecture practices

Architects and practices can join our Trade Program:

  • 10% off every order
  • 15% off from 10 pieces of the same reference
  • 20% off from 20 pieces of the same reference
